OpenAI launches ChatGPT Go in Brazil and partners with Nubank
OpenAI has launched ChatGPT Go in Brazil, a lower-priced subscription that sits between the free and Plus plans and costs about 65% less than Plus. The rollout includes exclusive benefits for Nubank customers, marking OpenAI’s first partnership with a financial institution in Brazil.
ChatGPT Go offers higher message limits, image generation, file uploads, and memory, and arrives as ChatGPT reaches 50 million monthly active users in the country.
Nubank customers get one month free, Nubank+ customers get three months free, and Ultraviolet customers receive a full year at no cost.
“With ChatGPT Go, we are making advanced AI tools accessible to more people around the world. The partnership with Nubank helps us bring these capabilities to millions of Brazilians, so that anyone, from students to small entrepreneurs, can use AI to better leverage their time and potential.” – Oliver Jay, International General Manager of OpenAI.
“By partnering with OpenAI to offer this new product free of charge to our customers, we are positioning Nubank as a gateway to innovations that make our customers’ lives better and easier. Offering ChatGPT Go is our way of simplifying access to cutting-edge technology and giving back something even more valuable to our users: time.” – Aly Ahearn, Vice President of Nubank Ultraviolet.
Bottom Line: Good for Chubb.
