My Brown raises $11.5 million to expand pet insurance offering

My Brown , a South Korea–based pet insurance provider, has raised $11.5 million in funding, bringing its total capital raised to $11.54 million, according to disclosed funding data.

The round closed on December 16, 2025, and is listed as a Series Unknown. Investors in the round include Green Cross Veterinary Medicine, Korea Development Bank, Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance , and Woorien, signaling strategic interest from both financial institutions and insurance incumbents.

MyBrown offers what it calls the Yellow Plan, its entry level pet insurance option designed to cover everyday veterinary care and major medical events with a simple structure and high overall limits. The plan covers basic outpatient medical expenses excluding surgeries and designated high cost treatments, with a daily limit of about ~$115, 70% reimbursement, a $23 deductible, and a total coverage cap of roughly $23,000. High medical expenses include certain high cost treatments and surgical procedures, with no limit on the number of claims and a daily limit of about $1,540, reimbursed at 70 percent. The plan also includes pet compensation liability coverage for bodily injury to third parties or other pets, capped at approximately $23,000 with a $23 deductible, and Rainbow Star travel expenses of about $230 in the event of a pet’s death after a 30 day waiting period. Across medical and special benefits combined, the maximum annual payout per policy is approximately $38,500.
