Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance VC invests in Drivemode
Mobile-based connected car startup Drivemode announced it has raised $6.5 million in a Series A round bringing its total funding to date to $9.15 million. One noteworthy investor is Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Venture Capital. Here’s what you should know. The San Jose-based company was established in 2014 and offers an Android app designed to reduce distractions for drivers via a hands-free interface that allows users to access music, navigation features, calls and texts.
