Marsh McLennan Agency launches healthcare pricing tool
Marsh McLennan Agency has introduced Network Navigator, a healthcare pricing tool designed to help employers evaluate and manage rising healthcare costs.
The tool uses data from Transparency in Coverage regulations to provide provider-level cost insights, allowing employers to compare networks based on location, provider, service type, and specialty. The goal is to improve decision-making around plan design and steer employees toward more cost-effective, in-network care.
Healthcare costs continue to rise, with Mercer reporting that the average cost of employer-sponsored health insurance reached $17,496 per employee in 2025, with further increases expected in 2026. Employers are increasingly looking for ways to identify lower-cost care options without compromising quality.
Network Navigator addresses limitations in existing tools that rely on aggregated or self-reported data. By translating pricing transparency data into actuarially validated insights, MMA aims to give employers a clearer view of network performance and cost variation across providers.
The launch reflects a broader push to operationalize healthcare price transparency data and turn it into actionable insights for employers navigating benefit strategy decisions.
