Marsh launches Digital Infrastructure Contract Advisory Group
Marsh has launched a global Digital Infrastructure Contract Advisory Group to support clients managing complex service contracts tied to digital infrastructure assets, including data centers, fiber and wireless networks, and cloud and AI platforms.
The group focuses on reviewing and aligning contractual risk-transfer terms with insurance requirements across the full asset lifecycle, from acquisition and construction through operations. According to Marsh, the team combines contract specialists, risk managers, and insurance experts, supported by internal AI tools, to identify coverage gaps, streamline negotiations, and reduce financial and operational risk.
The launch follows Marsh’s recent expansion of its Nimbus data center insurance facility, which now provides up to $2.7 billion in capacity for large-scale data center construction projects across North America, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand.
“Contract reviews demand deep expertise, careful coordination, and significant time investment, making them a complex and often burdensome process for our digital infrastructure clients, many of whom do not have dedicated risk management teams to support the process.” – Mike Mathews, Global Digital Infrastructure Leader, Marsh.
