Marsh plans captive insurance services in Bahrain

Marsh plans to expand its Bahrain business to include captive insurance management services, which it says would make it the first international broker to offer those services in the country.

Marcin Antosik, Captive Regional Leader for the Middle East, will lead the Bahrain offering alongside Marsh’s other captive operations in the region.

The expansion follows Marsh’s receipt of captive insurance licenses in Dubai in 2008 and Abu Dhabi in 2018. Marsh said demand is growing across the Gulf as businesses seek greater control over how they finance risk.
