Marsh Canada forms co-brokering alliance with TIPI Insurance Partners

Marsh Canada has entered a co-brokering alliance with TIPI Insurance Partners, an Indigenous-owned brokerage whose shareholders include 35 First Nations across Canada.

The firms will jointly serve Indigenous governments and organizations, public and private-sector clients, and sponsors of infrastructure, defence, natural resources, and energy projects. The arrangement combines TIPI’s experience serving Indigenous communities with Marsh’s risk advisory capabilities and access to global insurance markets.

Marsh and TIPI also plan to explore joint client teams, secondments, and knowledge sharing involving Marsh’s placement and analytics capabilities.

“Our collaboration with TIPI exemplifies our approach of working alongside Indigenous-owned businesses to serve clients while creating sustainable value for Indigenous communities and Canada’s economy.” – Michael Lewis, President, Marsh Risk Canada.
