MAIF Introduces Connected Home Service

French mutual insurer MAIF has recently introduced a connected home service called Maison Connée MAIF that is both “easy to deploy and inexpensive.” Also, it is free and accessible to all (insureds or not).

The mobile-friendly site offers diagnostic tools to allow users to understand the problematic areas in their home. In addition, policyholders enjoy reminders on home maintenance, weather alerts, and seasonal or news-related prevention tips.

Connected home users can also choose to install connected devices and opt for a tele-monitoring service to delegate the surveillance of their home to a specialized center (starting at €21.5  per month).
