LINE Insurance is Live

In the beginning of the year, Japan’s leading messaging service company LINE  established Line Financial Corporation, to provide a variety of financial services to its registered users. Now, LINE Financial Corporation, in collaboration with Sompo Japan Nipponkoa, is offering non-life insurance policies via the LINE messaging app.

Through the LINE messaging app, users can purchase insurance instantly, without having to download a separate app. Once registered, users can fill out an application for a policy in as little as 60 seconds for a wide variety of short-term and annual insurance policies, such as bicycle, travel, sports, events, golfing, and leases that fit various daily life situations.

Over time, LINE Financial plans to increase the selection of insurance policies, along with adding new features, such as insurance advice and settlements of claims.
