Lincoln names Jason Crane RPS President

Lincoln Financial Group  has appointed Jason Crane as senior vice president and president of Retirement Plan Services. Crane, who most recently served as head of Core Retirement at Ascensus, will lead strategy and execution for Lincoln’s retirement business, reporting to Jimmy Reid, president of Workplace Solutions.

He succeeds Ralph Ferraro, who is retiring at the end of September after leading Retirement Plan Services since 2022. Crane brings more than 25 years of retirement industry experience, including leadership roles at Ascensus and Transamerica.

As of June 30, 2025, Lincoln managed $331 billion in end-of-period account balances across its annuities, life insurance, group protection, and retirement plan services businesses.
