L&G America Can Use a Little Help

Less than a year ago Legal & General America, a MD-based life insurer, announced the launch of a new initiative called ALittleHelp.com, a crowdfunding website, with just transaction fees, dedicated to memorial funds.

And just like that “A Little Help is no longer accepting new memorial campaigns.” So much for being “sponsored by a company with over 65 years of securing the financial futures of families.”

Yet its YouTube channel still offers 39 videos on the topics of community, tragedy and crowdfunding.

Bottom Line: a closed project from the one that hopes to inject life into life insurance via selfies, and a cautionary tale to never create without creative.
