LexisNexis Risk Solutions names Katie James Head of DMV Solutions

LexisNexis Risk Solutions  has appointed Katie James as Head of Department of Motor Vehicle (DMV) Solutions. She will oversee solution development and customer engagement across the DMV portfolio, with a focus on fraud prevention, payment processing, and vital records modernization.

James brings over two decades of government sector experience, including leadership roles at Verisk Analytics and Incode Technologies. She is actively involved with the American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators (AAMVA), currently serving as Treasurer of its Industry Advisory Board and previously as Chair.

Her appointment underscores the company’s push to support DMVs with digital tools that improve security, reduce friction, and modernize services nationwide.
