Lawn care startup Sunday raises $50 million
Boulder-based Sunday closed a $50 million Series C funding round led by BOND with participation from Sequoia Capital, Forerunner Ventures, and Tusk Ventures, bringing its total funding to around $78 million.
Founded in 2018, Sunday operates in the space of lawn care. Starting with a home address, Sunday uses machine learning, granular property-level data, and aerial imagery to create custom lawn care plans that address the unique climate, pests and other challenges endemic to the homeowner’s zip code.
“Sunday makes it easy to have a beautiful and healthy yard without toxic chemicals. To reclaim this important space we empower the homeowners who care for it with novel products and a new kind of agtech platform. With the hard work of our talented team, and support from visionary investors like BOND, we’re creating the future of the American backyard.” – Coulter Lewis, Founder and CEO of Sunday.
