Introducing WhatsApp for Credit Scores

Financial products marketplace Wishfin is now allowing users to check their CIBIL Score in what is considered to be India’s first complete CIBIL Score process via WhatsApp.

Here’s How it Works: (1) user calls 8287 151 151 and hangs up, (2) user’s number is then added to WhatsApp Chat, (3) user enters name, date of birth, gender, residential address, email and PAN number (don’t worry, details will remain safe and secure), and (4) user can view his/her CIBIL Score right from the chat box.

Recall: India-based Wishfin, formerly known as Deal4Loans, is a marketplace for loans, mutual funds and possibly insurance. As of last year, it was still awaiting an insurance license. For now, we’ll keep on wishing.
