Imburse raises $1.7 million

Swiss fintech startup Imburse has raised $1.7 million in funding bringing its total funding to date to $3.8 million.

Established in 2018, Imburse is a cloud-based “Payments as a Service” platform that simplifies payments, whether it is cash, credit cards, billing solutions, alternative payment methods, vouchers or strategic partnerships.

Imburse also empowers the various payment technologies around the world to access all Imburse clients and deploy their payment technology without needing to integrate their technology directly into the corporate legacy IT system. One integration into the Imburse platform allows payment technologies to deploy their capabilities immediately with Imburse clients.

The company works predominantly with insurers and banks yet the platform is also relevant for loyalty and rewards programs, pharma companies, motor OEMs, events organizers, gaming and e-sports companies.
