iink Payments raises $2.8 million

Tampa-based home claim and endorsement management platform iink Payments has raised $2.8 million in a seed funding round led by Motivate Venture Capital, with Green Egg Ventures, Carolina Fintech Ventures, IU Ventures, and others as participants. Tony Ford, former CTO of Marqueta, will be joining iink’s board.

Founded in 2017, iink (a team of 12) offers a property insurance claims system that automates the homeowner’s claims and endorsements. As a result, homeowners and business owners can receive their funds after a covered loss ‘up to 60 times faster by’.
