Hokodo launches in France in partnership with Cegid

London-based Hokodo is now live France following a partnership with accounting platform Cegid. Now, every Cegid customer who creates an invoice will have the opportunity to protect that invoice against non-payment at the click of a button.

“Each year, hundreds of thousands of European businesses fail as a result of late or non-payment of invoices. Credit insurance solutions to tackle these issues do exist, but they have effectively excluded smaller businesses. Hokodo’s mission is to make financial services accessible to everyone, regardless of size. SMEs are the backbone of the French economy, so we are thrilled to launch our business on the French market. We aim to protect 20,000 French businesses before the end of the year.” – Louis Carbonnier, Co-founder and co-CEO of Hokodo.

“Our mission is to provide entrepreneurs with access to the most innovative, useful, and easy to use, services directly from their accounting platform. Integrating Hokodo’s solution within Cegid’s invoicing tools is fully in line with this perspective. SMEs are often unable to cope with non-payments or late payments, this partnership means that we are able to bring them a solution that will have a direct impact on their day-to-day cash management. Moreover, its simplicity and relevance makes it a truly unique offer in the market. This partnership also represents a wonderful opportunity for our accountants to expand their advisory services with SMEs.” – Grégory Desmot, Director of Cegid’s Collaborative Portal.
