HiRoad adds test drive feature

HiRoad, the State Farm subsidiary offering behavior-based car insurance, is now offering consumers a trial experience.

The new offering allows drivers to download the app and begin a test drive to see if they can find savings based on how much and how well they drive. The test drive period is 2-4 weeks.

Founded in 2017, HiRoad offers car and renters insurance in Arizona and Rhode Island. The company reported $21 million in written premiums for the first nine months of 2023.
