Higginbotham opens El Paso office

Higginbotham has opened an office in El Paso, Texas, expanding its physical footprint in a market where it has served clients for years.

Located on Westwind Drive, the nearly 3,000-square-foot office launches with a seven-person team and will offer the brokerage’s full range of commercial insurance, employee benefits, personal insurance, financial services, and HR solutions.

The office will be led by Micah Harrison, vice president of employee benefits, who joined Higginbotham in 2025 and has more than two decades of industry experience. According to the company, the new location formalizes its longstanding presence in the Borderland and is intended to support continued growth in the region.

The El Paso opening is part of Higginbotham’s broader expansion strategy. The employee-owned brokerage operates more than 150 offices nationwide and was ranked the 16th largest independent insurance brokerage in the U.S. by The Hales Report in 2026.
