HDI Global plans Lloyd’s syndicate

HDI Global UK & Ireland has received approval in principle from Lloyd’s to establish Syndicate 2029.

The syndicate will give HDI access to Lloyd’s global licenses, infrastructure, and distribution capabilities, complementing its existing insurance platforms. Underwriting is expected to begin in the coming months, subject to the remaining regulatory and operational approvals.

PoloWorks will help launch and operate the syndicate through Polo Managing Agency.
