HDI Global names Simon Hunt CEO of UK & Ireland business

HDI Global  appointed Simon Hunt as CEO of its UK & Ireland business, effective June 1, 2026.

Hunt had served as interim CEO since February following the departure of Stephanie Ogden and previously held the role of CFO for the region. He joined HDI Global in 2019 and has held several senior leadership positions within the business.

As CEO, Hunt will lead the UK & Ireland operation under HDI Global’s Xcelerate29 strategy, focusing on profitable growth across property, casualty, and specialty lines, while continuing investments in technology, data capabilities, claims, and risk engineering.

HDI Global’s UK & Ireland CFO position continues to be held on an interim basis by Ger Twomey.
