Groupama expands Continuity partnership in France

Groupama has signed a multi-year agreement with Continuity to use its AI-based risk management tools across the insurer’s nine regional branches in mainland France.

The partnership began as a pilot with Groupama Centre-Atlantique in 2021 and expanded to all nine branches by 2025. The new agreement formalizes the broader rollout for Groupama’s professional and corporate P&C business.

Continuity’s portfolio monitoring tool reviews existing policies for information that may need updating or closer examination. Its underwriting assistant brings together information needed to assess applications and applies the underwriting rules of each Groupama entity. The assistant has been rolled out to more than 160 employees.

According to the companies, the tools are intended to help underwriters assess risks as they change during the life of a policy, as well as when coverage is first written.
