Friday Introduces Add-On Protection for Drivers

Berlin-based digital car insurer Friday recently introduced a new coverage for drivers called FRIDAY add-on protection. The benefits:

– as a policyholder, one is free to drive any car; whether rented or borrowed

– as a car owner, the policyholder can allow others to driver the car without the hassle of having to specify the drivers.

Also, the coverage can be purchased independent of car insurance and premium starts at €5.49. Policy duration can be as little as one day going and up to three weeks. Fine print: seeking drivers 23 or older.
