Freeway launches auto insurance quoting in ChatGPT

Freeway Insurance  has launched an app in ChatGPT that allows consumers to get an estimated auto insurance rate through a conversational experience.

The Freeway Insurance app asks users questions about themselves, their drivers, and their vehicles to generate an estimated rate. Users can then continue with Freeway for a more detailed quote.

The integration gives Freeway another distribution entry point by allowing consumers to begin the insurance shopping process without first visiting the broker’s website.

Freeway joins a growing list of insurance companies and distributors building inside ChatGPT. Earlier entrants include Experian, Insurify, ACKO, AIS Insurance, Neptune Flood, Steadily, Employers, SkyWatch, Aviva, Ethos, Liberty Mutual, Thimble, Allianz Direct España, EverQuote, Fletch, MAIF and Plymouth Rock, with experiences ranging from insurance education and premium estimates to real-time quotes and comparison.
