Experian Health acquires eInsights
Experian Health has acquired eInsights , a healthcare technology company that helps providers identify patient insurance coverage missed or unavailable when care was delivered. Terms were not disclosed.
eInsights serves more than 200 U.S. healthcare organizations and says it has helped clients recover more than $225 million in reimbursements. Its technology searches for coverage after care, including retroactive Medicaid eligibility and secondary insurance, helping providers recover payments and avoid billing patients for services covered by insurance.

The acquisition extends Experian Health’s insurance discovery capabilities beyond registration and other early stages of the billing process. eInsights also offers coordination of benefits services, tools to prevent denials tied to filing deadlines, and Disproportionate Share Hospital reporting.
Experian Health serves more than 60% of U.S. hospitals and more than 5,800 medical practices, labs, pharmacies and other healthcare providers.
