Experian brings credit insights to Google Gemini

Experian has become the first personal finance app integrated with Google Gemini’s Connected Apps. US users can link their Experian accounts and ask Gemini about their credit rating and the factors influencing it. People who are new to Experian can create a free account through the experience.

Users can connect the app through Gemini’s Personal Intelligence settings or tag @Experian in a chat. Experian said consumers seeking their FICO Score 8 will continue to access it through its website or app.

The integration gives Experian another channel for reaching consumers as they use AI assistants to make financial decisions. The companies plan to add more capabilities over time, including potential help with canceling subscriptions.
