DigitalOwl rebrands as ChartSwap Insights

DigitalOwl is rebranding to ChartSwap Insights , combining medical record retrieval and analysis into a single platform following its acquisition by Datavant . 

The new brand brings together DigitalOwl’s AI-driven medical record summaries and chronologies with ChartSwap’s nationwide retrieval network. The result is an end-to-end workflow where users can request, track, and analyze medical records in one place instead of relying on multiple vendors.

The move addresses a longstanding gap in insurance and legal workflows, where record retrieval can take months and analysis adds additional delays. By integrating both steps, the platform aims to reduce turnaround times and improve visibility across the process.

Nothing fundamental is changing for existing users. The underlying AI, which the company says delivers over 98% accuracy in medical record analysis, remains in place, along with existing workflows and support.

The transition will roll out gradually, with a more unified retrieval-to-insight experience expected to expand further into 2027.
