Digitalization & Innovation in a Meeting for Brokers
Zurich Seguros has held a day in Madrid with strategic brokers attended by more than 80 representatives of brokerages throughout the national territory. At a time of historical transformation of the sector, the company focuses on the opportunities offered by innovation and digitalization to adapt to the new needs of customers.
Vicente Cancio, CEO of Grupo Zurich in Spain, participated in the conference, which was opened by Carlos Palos, Sales and Distribution Director of Zurich Seguros.
“The digital transformation will value the role of the mediator , who will have to work together with insurers to offer a value proposal that highlights their experience and knowledge of the customer, to offer a service that is even more personalized” – Palos.
During the day, the projects that position the company as a specialist were presented: the objective of doubling the market share in SMEs, risk consulting and international programs. In addition, a round table was organized to analyze and debate the digitalization of distribution, with the participation of various representatives of broker associations, Accenture and several Zurich managers.
The session ended with a section dedicated to the future and focused on the new customer experience in claims, business development in companies, business opportunities and bets for life businesses. The participation in all the sessions was very active, generating interesting debates and contributions by all the participants, who have valued the meeting very positively.
