Dayforward shuts down consumer business

Last August we reported that direct-to-consumer life insurance startup Dayforward launched a new enterprise offering to help carriers and distributors create and grow new insurance products.

The enterprise offering was made available through a new domain, dayforward.io, while the original consumer offering was available through dayforward.com. Based on our findings, dayforward.com now redirects visitors to dayforward.io while presenting a message for policyholders trying to access their account.

Founded in 2019, Dayforward publicly disclosed $45 million in funding and it owns two licensed insurance carriers – Dayforward Life Insurance Company and Commercial Travelers Life Insurance Company.
