Cuvva Raises £400,000 in Seed Funding

Scotland-based insurtech Cuvva, which offers car insurance coverage for as little as an hour via a mobile app, raised £400,000 in seed funding to grow its business. Incumbents watching: Tempcover, DayInsure, and Sky Insurance, to name a few, which offer similar coverage sans the ease of use component. Bottom Line: seems to be the first insurtech to announce funding in 2016.
