Clearcover Insurance Company reports 2025 results

Clearcover Insurance Company, the carrier subsidiary of car insurance startup Clearcover, has released its 2025 results, ending the period with $123 million in written premiums, a decrease of 14.5% compared to 2024.

The carrier reported a net underwriting loss of $14 million for the year, compared to a $20 million loss in 2024.

Loss ratio, excluding loss adjustment expenses and other underwriting expenses, was 79.8% for the year, an improvement of 5 percentage points compared to 2024. Combined ratio was 135.3% in 2025, compared to 133% in 2024.
