Brown & Brown names Dori Henderson CIO

Brown & Brown  announced the appointment of Dorothea “Dori” Henderson as chief information technology officer, effective February 23. She will lead the company’s enterprise technology strategy, including data and artificial intelligence initiatives, system reliability and security, digital capabilities, and technology integration related to acquisitions.

Henderson joins from CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield, where she served as senior vice president and chief digital information officer, overseeing enterprise IT and digital modernization efforts. She previously spent 18 years at Collins Aerospace in technology leadership roles spanning cloud engineering, cybersecurity, and global networks. She will be based in Daytona Beach, Florida.
