BlueOrchard backs flood intel platform Previsico

The InsuResilience Investment Fund Private Equity II, managed by BlueOrchard Finance, has invested in UK-based Previsico , a flood intelligence platform offering property-level stormwater flood forecasts up to 48 hours in advance. The funding round also included Burnt Island Ventures and other existing investors.

Founded in 2019 and led by CEO Jonathan Jackson, Previsico serves insurers, utilities, property owners, and public authorities in the UK, US, Kenya, and Italy. The new capital will support its US expansion and growth in emerging markets, where climate resilience demand is high.

Previsico’s technology combines live sensor, satellite, and weather data to deliver high-accuracy flood warnings, aiming to help clients anticipate, prevent, and recover from flood impacts.
