Blink: entering, exiting and still emerging

Three weeks ago, Coverager reported that Blink has made a move. That was then. Today is a whole ‘nother story. First, the site is back to its ’emerging’ status:

Second, Blink has lost its independence.

Today CPPGroup, a British company selling life assistance products, announced that it has acquired Blink for an initial consideration of €1m and an earn-out based on future products developed by Blink. The startup’s two founders will join CPPGroup. Recall: Blink looks to offer flight interruption insurance; similar to ZhongAn’s flight delay insurance and Berk Hathaway’s AirCare.
