babylon announces Europe’s largest investment in AI for health

UK-based digital healthcare company babylon announced it has raised $60 million in a Series B round, bringing its total funding to date to $85 million. The 4-year-old startup offers an AI-enabled symptom checker which has provided accurate, medical advice to over 250,000 people to date. But that’s not all. The company is planning to launch a new AI app that can help clinicians to accurately identify diseases and most appropriate treatments. Bottom Line: Bloomberg UK, Bupa and Aviva are partners.
