AvantStay partners with Allianz Partners
Short-term hospitality platform AvantStay is partnering with Allianz Partners to offer customers trip cancellation and trip interruption coverage.
The coverage from Allianz Partners can include up to 25 different covered reasons that may cause an AvantStay guest to cancel or interrupt their trip, such as an unexpected illness or injury, a mandatory individually-ordered quarantine due to an epidemic-related illness and hurricane warnings or mandatory evacuations at the destination, among other covered reasons.
AvantStay customers who purchase Allianz Travel Insurance will have access to Allianz’s TravelSmart mobile app. The app includes an Alert Center feature which provides users with location-specific travel alerts. The app allows users to access their travel insurance plan, file and manage a claim, track flights, receive live updates for delays and contact 24-hour travel assistance services.
Founded in 2017, the California-based startup raised nearly $700 million in funding.
