Arch launches property line, opens Milan office

Arch Insurance EU is expanding its European footprint with the launch of a property insurance line and a new office in Milan, effective immediately.

The new property capability will be delivered through underwriting hubs in France, Italy, and Spain, covering a broad range of occupancy types. The move adds to the company’s existing European lines, including casualty, cyber, executive assurance, and fine art and specie, positioning the business as a more integrated multi-line P&C insurer in the region.

The Milan office will write accident and health, cargo and logistics, fine art and specie, general liability, and property, with local underwriting leadership appointed across each line. The expansion is aimed at strengthening broker relationships and building local portfolios in key Continental markets.

The development marks a continued push by Arch Capital Group  to scale its European platform by combining local underwriting presence with broader global capabilities.
