Apollo and Generali to launch Red Bridge syndicate at Lloyd’s

Apollo Underwriting , a Skyward Group company, has partnered with Generali to launch Red Bridge Syndicate 2031 at Lloyd’s. The syndicate has received in-principle approval and is expected to begin underwriting on January 1, 2027, with Apollo serving as managing agent.

Red Bridge will allow Lloyd’s members to participate in Generali’s outward reinsurance program, which covers multiple lines of business across Europe. The arrangement gives Generali access to additional capital to support growth.

The launch will bring Apollo’s total number of syndicates under management to 11, expanding its third-party syndicate management business and generating additional fee-based revenue for Skyward Group.

Apollo’s platform provides partners with managing agency services, underwriting expertise and access to potential reinsurance and capital opportunities.
