Aon plc has established a strategic alliance with ZestyAI to get access to the company’s data on US properties, which is obtained by satellite and aerial imagery and other data sources for underwriting both catastrophic and attritional risk.



Through Aon, insurers can now access’s 130 billion data points on US properties which are designed to easily integrate into existing systems and models, and can be used for pre-filling key attributes, removing the need for research from the policyholder. Additionally, insurers can also gain access to’s new wildfire model, which provides property details such as vegetation, building materials, topography, weather patterns, and loss data.
