ANV acquires workers’ comp wholesale agency ASIA

ANV Group Holdings has acquired Associated Specialty Insurance Agency (ASIA), a Pennsylvania-based wholesale commercial insurance agency focused primarily on workers’ compensation.

Founded in 1994 and headquartered in Springfield, Pennsylvania, ASIA places workers’ compensation coverage through a network of more than 600 active brokers and approximately 20 carrier partners. The agency has developed expertise in artisan contractor risks and serves policyholders across the U.S.

The acquisition follows ANV’s recent purchase of Specialty Comp Insurance Solutions (SCIS), a workers’ compensation MGA specializing in hard-to-place middle-market risks. Together with Risico, ANV’s agricultural workers’ compensation MGA, the additions of ASIA and SCIS expand the company’s workers’ compensation platform across wholesale distribution, program underwriting, and specialty segments including construction, transportation, manufacturing, hospitality, staffing, and agriculture.
