Another Insurtech Drops Umbrella Logo
***
Jerry, the Palo Alto-based digital insurance shopper established last year, has a new look.
Before.
After.
Refresher. Jerry (Jerry Financial and Insurance Services) is led by YourMechanic founder Art Agrawal and has raised an undisclosed Seed round. It’s on a mission to shop for one’s insurance and alert him/her when prices drop. Here’s how it works: (1) user signs up for an account online, (2) enters car and/or home insurance intel, and (3) waits for Jerry to find insurance with better prices. To do so, Jerry has partnered with ISU Insurance Agency Network, a group of independent insurance agencies.
Look:
One can’t help but wonder if the new look has something to do with Travelers . After all, the primary reason I remember Brolly is because of how it avoided a dispute with Travelers, PolicyPal has already changed one logo (and may be in the process of changing another one) and My Insurer changed its logo twice.
Final thought.
Shame on me for trying the app Jerry. As a condition of using their app they actually are then given ALL of your policy data by a national carrier via an Insurance aggregator. ISU Insurance and Investment Group maybe you have a bigger plan for Jerry and how they'll work with…
