AmTrust International appoints Tony Scott as head of claims

AmTrust International  has appointed Tony Scott as Head of Claims for AmTrust Specialty Limited, subject to regulatory approval, and Head of Claims for its Specialty business unit.

Based in London, Scott will report to Bruce Whitmee, CEO of AmTrust Specialty Limited, and functionally to Ariel Gorelik, EVP and Global Chief Operating Officer. He will oversee claims strategy and execution across the Specialty business, focusing on operational excellence, innovation, and compliance with AmTrust’s claims standards.

Scott joins from Geo Underwriting, where he served as Head of Claims for seven years. His career spans more than 25 years in insurance, including leadership roles at HSBC and Canopius Group.
