AmTrust expands E&S division, adds industry leaders
AmTrust Financial is expanding its Excess & Surplus (E&S) division with new product lines and senior hires. The insurer added property, environmental, and builders risk offerings while consolidating its casualty business into a brokerage group.
Brian Mulvihill, formerly of Crum & Forster, will lead the new casualty brokerage unit. Kevin Sullivan, who joined from AXA XL, heads property; Tom Kashickey, with experience at Ironshore and AXIS, leads environmental; and Rob Tricamo, from Berkshire Hathaway Specialty, leads builders risk.
The expansion builds on AmTrust’s E&S strategy over the past 18 months, which has included multiple senior appointments. The new structure complements existing binding authority, unsupported excess, and underwriting operations, creating a more integrated E&S platform.
