allyz Home – no one is home
Allianz Partners launched allyz Home in 2024 as a digital platform offering on-demand home services, positioning it as part of a broader effort to bundle insurance with non-insurance services under the allyz brand. The platform was initially rolled out in France and Germany, with services ranging from cleaning and handyman work to plumbing and electrical repairs.
Today, the allyz Home site is no longer live. Allianz has not responded to requests for comment on the status of the platform or whether it has been paused, wound down, or reworked as part of a broader allyz strategy.
The apparent retreat fits a wider pattern across the insurance industry, where carriers have struggled to sustain home services and virtual repair initiatives beyond early pilots. Defunct or inactive efforts in this space include Anew, a virtual home repair service launched by Nationwide; Mundo Ageas, a professional services marketplace backed by Ageas; and Castle, a home repair offering from Progressive.
The main outlier remains Intact Financial, which doubled down on the category with its 2024 acquisition of Jiffy, opting to buy rather than build a home maintenance app.

The allyz brand is still being used for travel and cyber protection offerings.
