Allianz Partners taps new leaders for mobility and roadside assistance units
Allianz Partners has appointed Susan Poynor as Global Head of Mobility and Ali Bashirinia as Global Head of Roadside Assistance, strengthening its leadership bench across core segments of its Mobility & Assistance business.
Poynor, who joined Allianz Partners in 2019 via the acquisition of AVS Automotive, will focus on growing the company’s embedded insurance and connected car offerings. She brings deep automotive experience, including previous roles leading Opel Insurance Captive in Germany and co-founding VCIS with Volvo Car Germany. She will continue to serve as interim MD of AVS and VCIS until successors are named.
Bashirinia, with Allianz since 2011, steps into his new role after leading Business Transformation & Steering, where he helped implement IT platforms and supported global transformation efforts. As Global Head of Roadside Assistance, he will focus on scaling the business through data, AI, and strategic partnerships.
The changes follow the transitions of Fernando Comenge to Head of Mobility for the US and Natacha Bouaziz to a broader operational role within Roadside Assistance.
