Alliant hires employee benefits executive in North Carolina

Alliant Insurance Services  has appointed Steve Byrd as senior vice president within its Employee Benefits Group, based in North Carolina.

Byrd brings more than 25 years of experience advising employers on health and welfare strategies. In his new role, he will focus on developing cost management and risk mitigation approaches designed to align benefits programs with broader corporate objectives while reducing administrative complexity.

Prior to joining Alliant, Byrd served as an area vice president for health and welfare consulting at a global employee benefits and consulting firm.

The hire expands Alliant’s employee benefits capabilities in the Southeast as the broker continues to add senior talent across its regional platforms.
