ALKEME adds five agencies across four states

ALKEME has completed five acquisitions in the fourth quarter, expanding its property and casualty footprint and adding employee benefits capabilities across Indiana, New Jersey, California, and Florida. The deals further ALKEME’s strategy to build a coast-to-coast brokerage platform combining local agency expertise with national scale.

The acquired agencies include Merritt Hall in Indianapolis, Couch Braunsdorf Insurance Group in New Jersey, JXX Insurance Agency in Southern California and Bellwether in Florida, all of which strengthen ALKEME’s property and casualty capabilities in key regional markets. The group also acquired Health Connect Insurance Agency, a California based firm specializing in employee benefits, including critical care, Affordable Care Act plans and individual health coverage, expanding ALKEME’s benefits offering.

The brokerage said it will continue an active M&A pace in 2026, targeting culturally aligned agencies that expand capabilities and geographic reach.
