The agency that calls itself a tech firm cuts ~8% of staff
Insureon CEO Ted Devine is attributing the latest layoffs to its technology, which has allowed the Chicago-based digital agency to become more efficient. The agency is part an online quoting platform and part a wholesale agency, after it acquired Insurance Noodle from Willis in 2014. Earlier this year it launched a national TV campaign called Choose Easy and this is what it sounds like.
