Acrisure Re plants flag in California

Acrisure Re is expanding west with a new office in San Francisco, marking a key move to grow its U.S. footprint. The reinsurance brokerage named Senior Vice President Danny Souza to lead the effort, while continuing to support its New York operations under Partner and Managing Director Marc Piccione.

Souza, who joined Acrisure Re in 2016, is joined in California by SVP Mark Hargreaves, as the firm looks to deepen relationships across the Acrisure West Coast network and capture new treaty business in the region.

The expansion aligns with Acrisure Re’s strategy to scale across North America by placing senior talent in high-growth markets.
