Acko Finally Announces Investment From Amazon

Amazon has led a $12M funding round in digital insurer Acko , bringing its total funding to date to $42M.

The Mumbai-based digital insurer, led by Coverfox cofounder Varun Dua, has launched its car insurance offering back in March with the value proposition of ‘killer prices’ and a ‘terribly convenient’ service; that being said, a human interaction is part of the equation more often than not.

Two more things. One. Acko offers mobile protection “that you can buy right when you purchase your new mobile on Amazon.”
